The Alzheimer Society of Ireland – Fund Raising Cycle Challenge

As a mark of our support for The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, our CEO, Francis Whelan and friend Des Hurley are taking up the Dublin to Kilkenny fund raising cycle challenge, cycling 120km from Dublin to Kilkenny on July 16 th 2016.

As CEO of Broadmeadow Healthcare Group and Nursing Home Operators providing specific Dementia Care Services, Francis realises and understands the key importance of the work and services provided by The Alzheimer Society of Ireland. The Society’s Dementia Specific support, advocacy and protection of rights for all people living with Dementia and their carers is very well recognised across Ireland.

Creating excellence in Dementia Care is one of the key drivers of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland where no-one goes through Dementia alone and Policies and Services respond appropriately to the person with Dementia and their carers, at a crucial time of support.

Thank you.

Francis Whelan
